Enroll in the AWS Machine Learning Foundations course.

Learn best practices of object-oriented programming, Amazon AI Services, and AWS AI Devices such as DeepLens, DeepRacer, and DeepComposer.

Commit to dedicating 5-10 hours a week on the course and work towards earning one of the follow-up Nanodegree program scholarships.

Machine learning is expected to transform virtually every industry, but there is a shortage of trained and experienced ML developers. Of 23 million developers worldwide, only 1.3% have AI/ML expertise, and by 202‍2 it is predicted there will be 58 million AI/ML jobs.

The AWS Machine Learning Scholarship program was designed to help students break into machine learning by building key ML skills and deploying them in the AWS production environment.

In the AWS Machine Learning Foundations Course, the first of two scholarships being offered, you'll build basic software engineering skills and intermediate knowledge of ML skills, such as supervised and unsupervised learning. You’ll also gain hands-on experience with AWS educational AI devices, such as AWS DeepComposer.
