It Pays to Be Valuable

Gold in its unrefined state doesn’t look attractive. For it to look attractive, it has to pass through a high degree of temperatures. It has to be refined so that it’s true value would be seen. A layman who sees an unrefined gold on the ground would despise it and may even throw it in the dustbin. But the case is different when a goldsmith sees that same unrefined gold, he picks it up, takes it to the furnace and works on it. At the end of the day, he brings out the true beauty that no one else saw in it. Then he goes to the store, sells it and gets paid handsomely for his job well done. The buyer of that gold can probably sell it to a Jewelry Company who in turn would pay him a huge sum of money. That gold in it’s the refined state can yield a huge sum of money to the person/company that owns it.

How valuable are you?

Are you at a point where you look unrefined? Don’t give up, rather, work on yourself. Are you at a point where you don’t attract wealth? Continue to refine yourself by developing that thing you want to be skillful in. The journey of a thousand miles always begins with a step.

Start working on that skill.  People who don’t see the potential in you might despise you because to them, you don’t look valuable but do not lose focus as a result. Your focus should be on that potential you want to nurture and develop not on the naysayers, rather, it should be on your business.  

You need to be valuable so that Financial Resources would follow you without your necessary toiling to get it. You need to build your capacity so that you would attract Finances in the same way a refined gold would attract it to the owner.

Become valuable to the point were by like Jesus Christ, a great multitude would follow you. They followed him because he was able to meet their need at the right time. People would always follow value no matter how much it would cost them, little wonder the miners would never give up in searching for gold under the ground.

If you have started the journey of improving and developing yourself by reading books, attending seminars, mentorship and so on, yet it seems as though you are not where you suppose to be, I encourage you not to give up. Keep on being persistent with your pursuit of becoming a person of value because a day is coming when it definitely would begin paying you off.

Remember that if it was easy to become valuable everyone would be valuable but then, it is not easy because not everyone can pay the price of going through the process of refinement. But hold on and stay focus because you would eventually win.

Remember that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. Take that step of becoming valuable today.
