What are you doing with what you have?

So many times, people despise what they have, only paying attention to the things other people have. It’s very important to pay attention to the things you have and look for possible means to utilize them. You might not have much materially but when you can utilize them effectively, it goes a long way to yield profits for you.

We now live in a world where many become envious of what their friends possess. Probably, their friend just bought a new phone or device, after seeing it, they become envious of him or her. Understanding the fact that what you possess is sufficient for you to break-even is something that can do away with envy/jealousy in our lives.

You might not possess any material thing but you have at least one talent. Research has shown that one talent is equivalent to $29,000 (about 11,223,000 Naira). You are jealous or envious of others because you have a talent but haven’t discovered it yet. Your talent might be singing, writing, soccer, etc. You need to discover it first then concentrate your strength and energy in developing it knowing fully well that talent mixed with discipline is only what would birth the Financial Resources you desire. You need to work on those talents for them to work for you Financially.

Nicholas James Vujicic, an Australian Christian evangelist, and motivational speaker was born without arms and legs. According to his life story, his mother refused to hold or see him when the nurse held him in her front. He was bullied in his teenage and young adult age but yet he never gave up on developing himself in becoming a bestselling author, motivational speaker, and evangelist. Today he is worth $800,000 (about 309,600,000 Naira). Not only that, but he is also married to a beautiful wife and together they have 4 children. This is a man who doesn’t have arms and legs as you do.

The question remains, what are you doing with what you have?

Do you envy others or you concentrate on developing that talent till it becomes profitable?

You might say you don’t have anyone to coach you but you have YouTube available to you for free. All that you need to learn there is time, data, and commitment.

Moses had a rod in his hand and that was one of the primary things God used through him to deliver the Israelite from the hands of the Egyptians. Do not despise those talents of yours because the cash you desire is hiding there. Those talents are only waiting for you to nurture them to the point where they begin to yield Financial profits for you. It would cost you to develop that talent and you need to know that there is always a price to pay to win any prize. As John Obidi would always say “It costs money to fund a wall”, it also costs money to develop your talents but the profit you would yield is worth more compared to the amount invested in it.
