Dare to take the Lead

“I have heard the cry of my people, and I see how the Egyptians are oppressing them. Now I am sending you to the king of Egypt so that you can lead my people of his country.”

This was God’s instruction to Moses who spent part of his life in Egypt where he learnt their culture and where he also had the privilege to be raised by the King’s daughter. In a way, he had access to the king since he was raised by his daughter.

Though due to certain circumstance he had to leave there and stay with his father-in-law Jethro. One faithful day when he was taking care of Jethro’s sheep and goats, he saw that the bush was on fire but not consuming, surprised he went closer to have a better. As he was coming close God spoke to him. He was asked to go back to Egypt and rescue his people from the hands of the Egyptians.

At first, he gave God many reasons why he could not be used by Him but God saw him beyond his weakness. Eventually, Moses dared to take the lead in his generation and he was able to make an impact in his time.

In what way do you want to affect your generation positively? Dare to take the lead and begin to work on that thing. Most times doubt and the fear of failing steps in to cripple or distract us but notwithstanding we have Mentors, Friends, People who have gone ahead of us and our Creator (God) to help us in through the journey.

Dare to take the Lead in whatsoever you were created to do believing in God and the potentials he has placed on the inside of you.

Dare to take the Lead by not giving up when things get tough.

Dare to take the Lead by not giving yourself to self-doubt.

Dare to take the Lead because you were created to do so.
